Lula’s Chancellor denies that Milei helped Brazil in Trump’s tariff

Brazilian Foreign Minister, Mauro Vieira, said on Friday (18), during an interview with CNN that there is no data on a supposed help from Javier Milei, president of Argentina, so that Brazil would receive a taxation of “only” 10% of the United States.

“Javier Milei, president of Argentina, recently said in an interview that Brazil was taxed by 10% because he made an effort for Brazil. There is data that proves this speech of Milei?” Asked the anchor of CNN Gustavo Uribe.

“No,” said Vieira.

Milei said on Monday (14), that the tariff to Brazil, and Mercosur countries, is thanks to the good relationship he has with American leader Donald Trump.
