Pope Francis’ funeral took place this Saturday (26) and lasted about two hours and ten minutes.
United States President Donald Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky met before the Vatican City ceremony and had a “very productive discussion.”
According to Steven Cheung, White House Communications Director, the leaders “met in particular today and had a very productive conversation.”
“More details about the meeting will be released soon,” he said.
Already the president of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, commented that he did not see Donald Trump.
When questioned by journalists, Lula said he didn’t even see the Republican because there were many people at the ceremony and therefore did not have the opportunity to greet him.
Pope Francis, born Jorge Mario Bergoglio, died at the age of 88 after a stroke, followed by irreversible heart failure.
