Luciana Gimenez says she spends R$10,000 on invoices: “I’m not a spender”

The presenter Luciana Gimenez 55, said that she spends R$10,000 on her credit card bill, and believes that the amount is economical, given the standard of living she leads in Brazil.

“If it’s a month of travel, it’s more [fatura]but there are months when it will be less. Because, if I’m standing still, doing nothing… I’m not a ‘gastona’. [Mas] There are months when I don’t do much,” said Luciana, in an interview with PodSê.

She explained that, sometimes, she spends a month in New York, where her son, Lucas Jagger, lives, and the bill happens to reach R$60,000.

“But I’ve been here for a month [no Brasil]working directly. I’m not much of a shopping person, so what do I spend it on? I spend on the card to go out to dinner, buy clothes. The problem is that sometimes I’m paying last month’s bill”, said the presenter.

During the podcast, he said that he travels in business class and leaves his son Lorenzo, 13, in economy. She explained her reason for leaving it in a different location than hers.

“I think the child has to learn too. Will the executive child travel too? You will stay there to learn. But it’s not punishment, no”, explained the presenter in an interview with the PodSê podcast.

“I’ve traveled economy all my life, guys! Does everyone here travel by business?” asked Luciana.

She also said that the boy is afraid of planes, and told about a turbulent moment on a trip, when he was alone in economy class.

“I swear to you: he put the food tray down and I felt so sorry. Interest! But it happens. It was a 12-hour trip and he would fall into the arm of the person sitting next to him. Poor!” he said.

“I felt sorry because when we went to New York, there was a lot of turbulence on the flight, and he was scared. And I was there at the front in the executive”, said the presenter.
