Maria Nilza Rodrigues dos Santos, 57 years old, and Osvaldo Pinto de Silva, 100 years old “Paraná”, carried out a pre-wedding photo shoot. They are patients at Casa de Saúde Santa Izabel (CSSI).
The couple, known as Nilza and Paraná, made their relationship official with a engagement on Osvaldo’s 100th birthday at the end of last year.
After the repercussion of the love story on social media, photographers Gilmara Santos and Luiz Maia offered to record the wedding.
Like the wedding date has not yet been defined it was decided to hold the pre-wedding shoot.
The preparations for the trial included the collaboration of several professionals from Casa de Saúde Santa Izabel. They have lived together for almost 18 years.
Psychologist Débora Tolentino created the bride and groom costumes while the nursing team and caregivers prepared the couple for the shoot.
The bride also received hair and makeup from a professional makeup artist.
The rehearsal was carried out at Estância da Lagoa, an event space in Betim (MG), close to the health unit, before Valentine’s Day, celebrated this June 12th. The owner of the venue made the space available for the rehearsal.
According to social worker Ana Paula de Oliveira Anacleto, the couple was initially shy, but soon created a connection with photographers resulting in beautiful records.
