The owner of a 750,000 euro ring, she realized on Friday that her diamond jewel had disappeared. Panic, suspicions about a hotel employee, complaint, commotion in the hotel, raid by the Banditry Repression Brigade (BRB)… But everything ended well: the jewel was found… in a storage bag vacuum.

Three nights offered
It all started on Friday morning. The Malaysian tourist, who arrived in the capital the day before, went shopping in the uptown areas of Paris. Upon her return, shortly before noon, she notices that her ring has disappeared. It had been left on a table in her room. The woman immediately suspected a hotel employee.
The hotel management, obviously very concerned about its image and the fairness of its employees, turned the entire structure upside down to find the jewel. Everything was done, after a visit by the police, even in the tourist’s room. After several hours of searching, the jewel was finally found in a vacuum cleaner bag.
The Malaysian tourist, who left Paris on Saturday to fly to London, returned to France to retrieve her ring. Second Le Parisien, the Ritz offered her three nights’ accommodation as compensation. A commercial repair proposal that the woman has no intention of taking advantage of.
