Lollapalooza 2024: Hozier sings among the audience at his first show in Brazil

The evening of this Saturday (23) at the Autódromo de Interlagos was marked by a show by Irish musician Hozier. This was the first time the artist performed in Brazil. The singer is one of the highlights of Lollapalooza 2024.

In the midst of the drizzle, which intensified at the end of the show, Hozier brought the biggest indie hits of his career. “Cherry Wine”, “Would That I” and “Francesca” were some songs that warmed up the atmosphere for the last song of the show – and the singer's biggest success.

Hozier ended the performance with the classic “Take Me To Church”, from 2013, using the last verses to throw himself into the crowd, even with the most intense rain.

The singer even went back to the stage with an LGBTQIA+ movement flag that he took from the audience. He has previously said about the song being an activist anthem for the community.

During the presentation, Hozier risked speaking in Portuguese. At various times he thanked us with “Thank you guys”, as well as phrases such as “Good to be here” and “All good” between songs.
