The proposal submitted by the President of K.O. of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance, Alexis Tsipras, for the establishment of a Committee for the study of an issue of national interest entitled “Parliamentary Consultation and Accountability Committee for the Recovery and Resiliency Mechanism and for the NSRF 2021-2027”, recalls in a letter to the President Parliamentarian Mrs. Tasoula, the Secretary of the House of Representatives, Olga Gerovasilis, inviting him to immediately schedule the relevant meeting of the Parliament’s Rules of Procedure Committee.
The Commission’s remit will in particular include studying the problems of planning, implementing, evaluating and financing the policies of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism and the NSRF for the period 2021-2027 and comparing them with international “good practices”.

Mister President,
Hereby, I would like to remind you of the proposal submitted by the President of K.O. of SYRIZA P.S. Mr. Alexis Tsipras, with his letter dated 15/3/2022 to you, for the establishment of a Committee to study an issue of national interest entitled “Parliamentary Consultation and Accountability Committee for the Recovery and Resiliency Mechanism and for the NSRF 2021-2027” .
It has already been five months since he first raised the issue, and two months since he reminded you of his request on the floor of the House during the debate on the climate bill. I remind you that in your answer you committed to bring his proposal for discussion at the first meeting of the Regulation Committee.
Since, Mr. President, this has not happened to date, and because the parliament’s work, as you have announced, is expected to be suspended for the summer at the end of July, I invite you to schedule the relevant meeting of the Parliament’s Rules Committee immediately with the aim of making immediate use of it the provision of article 44 par. 1 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament and the establishment of a Committee for the study of an issue of national interest entitled “Parliamentary Consultation and Accountability Committee for the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism and for the NSRF 2021-2027”, whose competence will including in particular the study of the problems of design, implementation, evaluation and financing of the policies of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism and the NSRF for the period 2021-2027 and their comparison with international “good practices”.
