The Lebanese army announced that one officer and two soldiers were killed today by a firefighter, a few days after a similar incident that resulted in a soldier losing his life. According to the announcement, the officer and the two soldiers were killed, while “a number of citizens were injured” by an explosion in an army vehicle that transported ammunition to Braicaaa, in Nabatye’s province.
