Singer Lana Del Rey revealed, in an interview published last Tuesday (21), that she is single. The singer confirmed the end of her engagement with music manager Evan Winiker. Plus, Lana said she’s going to take a break from love.
After recent disagreements with her ex-lover about the house they lived in in Arkansas, United States, the artist reportedly realized that he lived in an “ego bubble”. “We had some fights over this house, some people,” Lana Del Rey told Harper’s Bazaar magazine. “I feel like even the calmest guy doesn’t want to relax here. Unfortunately, part of you knows that’s not it… That shocked me. I’m not going to name names and stuff, but it really shocked me, that person. In fact, that was the end of the relationship,” she revealed.
The singer states that she doesn’t understand her ex’s attitude: “That’s a hard thing to swallow. In that person’s case, there was something going on with him, like he was in a little ego bubble.”
When asked about her current love situation and whether she’s in love with anyone, Lana said that “I’m definitely not in love right now” – and that she’s not in a rush for that to happen. “Well, I’ll tell you. That hasn’t even crossed my mind in the last five months on the road or here. But wait a week. My story will, of course, come to me at some point,” she concluded.
Lana Del Rey and Evan Winiker have been engaged since March of this year. The couple was discreet and did not make many public appearances together.
