Lady Gaga in Copacabana: Globo will broadcast a show with a delay, says website

The free show that the singer Lady Gaga 38, will do in Copacabana Beach in the south of Rio de Janeiro, will be shown by TV Globo with a 8-10 minutes delay according to columnist Gabriel Vaquer, from Portal F5.

The request would have come from Lady Gaga herself and would emulate something that happened last year, when Madonna performed at the scene. For Globo, the measure is advantageous because it allows the broadcaster to better fit commercial intervals, according to the journalist.

Sought by CNN TV Globo said, through its advisory, that it has not yet hit the hammer on the subject and should make a final decision closer to the show.

In addition to the Rio de Janeiro broadcaster, the free presentation of the voice of “Shallow” and “Die With a Smile” will also be broadcast by Multishow and Globoplay.

The show should take 1.6 million people to Copacabana beach. The American artist’s show is scheduled to start 9:45 pm and finish 0h15. The opening attractions will be DJs, contrary to what was speculated on social networks. Names like Ludmilla, Anitta, Pabllo Vittar and Liniker were ventilated.

According to Rio de Janeiro, a special plan was set up for the event similar to the Madonna show, held on May 4, 2024.

“The operation is very similar to the Madonna show, we made adjustments with all the organs that are super involved and planned,” said Bernardo Fellows, president of Riotur.
