Lady Gaga announces new album 4 years after last release

The American singer Lady Gaga , 38, has officially announced her new studio album. The announcement was made on Saturday (25) and occurred exactly four years after the last release, “Chromatica”.

The announcement was made using the message “LG7. Gaga’s return”, projected in the final scenes of the film “Gaga Chromatica Ball” made available on a streaming service yesterday.

The singer's fans use the abbreviation “LG7” to name her next studio work, which will be the seventh of her career.

Videos of fans reacting to the announcement went viral on social media (see below).

Furthermore, during the scene it is possible to hear a snippet of a still unknown song by Gaga, which fans understood as “we dance in the shadow of the night” [“Nós dançamos nas sombras da noite” , em tradução literal]. Listen to the excerpt below.

Recently, Lady Gaga made several posts on social media in which she appears wearing black clothes in studios and with musical instruments. She also started using a black heart emoji in all subtitles.

The singer, who has released the albums “The Fame” (2008), “The Fame Monster” (2009), “Born This Way” (2011), “Artpop” (2013), “Joanne” (2016) and “Chromatica ” (2020), he has also declared that the new songs he has been writing and recording are “different from anything he has ever done”.

On her 38th birthday in March, Gaga also said that the new songs are the “best she has ever done”.

The film “Gaga Chromatica Ball” portrays the “Chromatica” album tour and is available to subscribers of Max, HBO’s streaming service.
