Kim Jong Un has left the Russian Far East

THE Kim Jong Un departed on Sunday on his specially designed train from the Russian Far East bound for the North Korean border, concluding his visit to Russia which began on Tuesday, according to Russian media.

The North Korean leader’s departure ceremony took place “at the Artyom-Primorsky 1 station, where Kim Jong Un’s armored train was already located,” as reported by the Ria Novosti agency. In a related video released by the agency, Kim, who rarely travels outside his country, can be seen walking a red carpet towards his carriage and saying goodbye to those present.

“Kim Jong Un’s train is headed for the Hasan border station. The distance is… about 250 kilometers”the TASS agency reported.

Earlier, Kim received as a gift from the governor of the Primorye region five drones equipped with explosives, a reconnaissance drone and a bulletproof vest, according to TASS. The gifts are highly symbolic amid fears in the West of a possible deal to deliver weapons and ammunition from North Korea, which Moscow needs for its offensive in Ukraine.
