The filmmaker's new film Martin Scorsese , “Killers of the Flower Moon” , arrived on Apple TV+ this Friday (12). The 3h30 long film premiered in Brazilian cinemas on October 12, 2023.
The plot is based on a true story inspired by the writer's best-selling book of the same name. David Grann which addresses mysterious murders that took place in the Osage Indian tribe.
The film shows how the original population became the target of a series of brutal crimes committed by white men, after the intruders became rich due to the discovery of oil that was abundant in the indigenous territory, in Oklahoma, in the United States, in the 1920s.
The title stars the Golden Globe winner Lily Gladstone It is Leonardo DiCaprio . Names like Robert de Niro , Jesse Plemons It is Brendan Fraser make up the cast.
