The actor Keanu Reeves really committed to the last movie of “Matrix”.
During an interview on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Reeves revealed that he and Carrie-Anne Moss jumped from a 40+ story building to a scene in “The Matrix Resurrections.”
The duo are reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity and presenter Stephen Colbert asked why they jump in instead of just doing the scene digitally.
“Because is [a diretora] Lana Wachowski, it’s ‘The Matrix’ and you need natural light and you really want to do it,” Reeves said. “I mean, but there are wires.”
Reeves said he and Moss held hands and jumped out of the building about 19 or 20 times.
“After the first time, you can’t think about fear,” he said. “You can’t block it out, but deal with it, absorb it and just be there and do it. And that’s what we did,” he completed, just as Neo would say.
The actor also stated that “it was amazing” and that he had never bungee jumped before.
“The Matrix Resurrections” hits theaters and HBO Max on December 22nd.
