The singer Katy Perry 40, went to watch the Lady Gaga show 38, in Mexico City on Sunday (27). The voice of “Shallow” and “Die With a Smile” last weekend, the last two performances before coming to Brazil.
Katy praised her friend’s show and celebrated the fact that they have grown together in the music industry. In the past, fans fed rivalries between the two singers.
“The show was magnificent. The dress! The sand! Every moment was the moment. I’m so proud of you and grateful for growing together,” Katy wrote. “Lady Gaga, I love you.”
The shows in Mexico replicated what Gaga had already shown in his two performances at Coachella, the main festival of world music, in the previous two weekends. The only additional was the song “Blade of Grass,” which talks about the marriage proposal made by groom singer Michael Polansky.
Katy Perry is in the Latin American country, did three shows from The Lifetimes Tour in Mexico City and will do two others in Monterrey. If Gaga will bring his tour to Brazil this week, Katy will come here only in September, when she will perform at The Town Festival in Sao Paulo.
