K. Mitsotakis in PtD: The government will do everything it can to mitigate the wave of imported precision

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met today with the President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou at the Presidential Palace, as part of the regular monthly briefings.

In their brief conversation during the reception of the Prime Minister by the President, issues of accuracy and energy were mentioned, among other things.

“Within the existing fiscal possibilities, the government will do everything in its power to support the most vulnerable to mitigate the consequences of the unprecedented wave of imported precision,” noted the prime minister.

He pointed out the “critical geostrategic role of Greece as a natural gas gateway to Europe in the context of the diversification of energy supply sources of European countries.

He also referred to the higher education bill that was tabled in Parliament today, saying that “it is a milestone especially in the area of ​​connecting our universities with the labor market”.

For her part, the President noted that “we have very difficult months ahead of us to deal with the crisis as soon as possible” and that “the EU is trying to deal with the energy precision crisis in a coordinated way”.

He also pointed out that “Greek society is in absolute need of competitive universities that are the driving force of research, development and pioneering”.
