The news was launched as an exclusive by The Mirrorwho analyzed the star's hairline over the last two years, as well as his passion for hats, follicle by follicle and drew conclusions.

Kevin C. Cox/Getty ImagesAccording to the newspaper, the most plausible hypothesis would be that, while waiting for the regular regrowth of his hair after the transplant, the singer had opted to methodically cover his head. The careful analysis of the star's hair was also done by a Ukrainian doctor, based in New York, Dr Gary Linkov who posted a video on Tik Tok in which he reeled off his theory, gaining three and a half million views in just 2 days.

Surgeon and content creator, Dr. Gary Linkov, said: «When I look at his forehead (his hairline now) it's much flatter, he doesn't have that recession. And when the hair is wet, you can see the evenness of the hairline, so it looks like maybe he had a transplant.”

thecelebrityfinder/Bauer-GriffinAccording to Dr. Linkov Justin Bieber: «He started wearing all these hats in 2022 and covered his hair so that it was difficult to understand what was happening. Hair transplants can take up to a year, perhaps a year or a year and a half, to show final results. Usually when we have to fill the receding hairline we need from 1200 to 1800 grafts for both sides. I try not to let the hairline go too low on the forehead, because over time, when they start to lose at the crown of the head, having them too low in the front doesn't look so natural, but sometimes that's what people ask for. ».
Hair transplant is no longer a taboo and is talked about
If on the one hand we have Justin Bieber, who if it were true that he had a hair transplant has not confirmed it, on the other hand there are more and more men who do not hide it, because this aesthetic intervention is today understood as an improvement not only in one's appearance, but also in the way of perceiving oneself which affects a person's self-confidence, serenity and mental well-being. Aurora Ramazzotti's partner, Goffredo Cerza, also recently spoke about it openly, documenting the pre- and post-intervention on his Instagram profile with the comment: “New hair coming soon.” And don't forget that the champion Cristiano Ronaldo, to distribute the economic risk and preserve his assets, has invested a nice billion-dollar business in clinics specializing in hair transplants with the Insparya Group, founded by the Portuguese manager Paulo Ramos and the footballer. Did he do it too?
Medical tourism for hair transplantation is growing
Hair transplant is often one of those interventions scheduled for a health holiday and Istanbul, considered among the most advanced cities in the world of trichology. According to Future Market Insights (IMF), the medical tourism market in Turkey is expected to grow at a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of 5.92%. The market value is expected to increase from $3,751.6 million in 2023 to $6,670.5 million by 2033. At the end of 2022, the medical tourism sector in Turkey was valued at $3,550.1 million.
Today Turkey is among the nations with the primacy in the sector of hair transplant, thanks also to a government policy to support and enhance medical tourism which has imposed a Health Regulation for compliance with certain standards for any intermediary tourist agency that operates as a health tourism agency. License issued by the Ministry of Health (health tourism license) only on condition that all the rules imposed by it are respected.
An example of a health tourism package, aimed at travelers arriving from Italy, includes: guaranteed success of an auto-transplant, return flight from Italy to Turkey, stay in a very central 4 or 5 star hotel affiliated with the clinic (3 days 2 nights in hotel with breakfast included); all airport/clinic/hotel transfers; translation service; FUE hair transplant between 2000 and 5000 follicular units with rotating gold tip instruments for better healing and to reduce scarring; all medical expenses; a PRP session; lotion and shampoo and even personalized coaching. This is a standard package offered by Med & Beauty which collaborates with Estepera clinic in Istanbul.
According to what Servet Terziler, head of the Turkish Association for Health Tourism (TÜSATDER), said at the Daily Milliyet the boom in medical travel to Türkiye began with hair transplantswhich generate an incredible amount of 2 billion dollars a year, with an initial wave of visitors from the Middle East and the Arabian Peninsula flocking to Istanbul. However, recent years have seen an increase in interest from Europeans, but also prominent figures from the United States and textile magnates from India and Pakistan, some of whom arrived on their private jets. Terziler explains that the growth of the phenomenon is also linked to the competitiveness of the prices of hair transplants in Turkey, which are considerably lower, varying from 2,500 to 3,000 dollars, compared to European prices which are generally equal to a minimum of 8,000-10,000 euros (8,600-10,800 dollars) and those proposed by renowned American doctors who ask for no less than 10,000-15,000 dollars.
