The Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice accepted the complaint of the Public Prosecution Service and transformed into army soldier Miguel Felipe dos Santos Guimarães da Silva, 20. The attack took place in February, in the Puchincha neighborhood, in Jacarepaguá, west of the city. Ludierley Satyro José, 46, suffered burns in 60% of the body. Investigations point out that the crime was motivated by a challenge launched in a community on Discord.

The investigators pointed out that Miguel Felipe used social networks to promote criminal acts, seeking recognition within digital communities. He and the adolescent participated in online groups with neo -Nazi content and apology for hate crimes.
