The American studio Lionsgate released, on Monday (14), the first image of the actor Johnny Depp 61, characterized for the film “Day Drinker” . In the image, the star appears unrecognizable for the role of a mysterious guest of a private yacht (see below).
The film marks Johnny Depp’s definitive return to Hollywood’s big productions after the trial of the ex-wife, the actress Amber Heard (“Aquaman”).
“Day Drinker” tells the story of a bartender of a private yacht (Madlyn Cline) who finds a mysterious guest on board (DEPP). Therefore, they get involved with a criminal figure (Penelope Cruz) and connect in ways no one expected.
Still, the film is the fourth production of the actor with Cruz, after the two starring “Profession of Risk” (2001), “Pirates of the Caribbean” (2011) and “East Express Murder” (2017).
The movie is directed by Marc Webb (Live-action of “Snow White”). The cast is also composed of Manu Ríos, Arón Piper, Juan Diego Botto and Anika Boyle .
