Actress Jennifer Aniston, 54, star of “Friends” has already revealed to perform aesthetic procedures to help rejuvenate the skin. Recently the artist revealed that she used salmon semen in an attempt to rejuvenate herself.

According to “The Wall Street Journal”, the actress said that she will “try almost everything” to look younger, including a treatment with the unusual ingredient. To the newspaper, the actress said that the idea was given by an aesthetic professional and that she was very surprised by the suggestion.

“First of all, I said ‘Are you serious’? How do you get sperm from salmon?”, reported Jennifer Aniston. Despite the shock, the treatment was applied, but the star cannot say if it really worked, since she performs other procedures, such as the injection of peptides (amino acid molecules).

“I think this is the future”, said the actress after admitting that she injects weekly and that this is really effective for her anti-aging. The treatment is responsible for helping to increase cell renewal and the production of collagen and elastin, according to the newspaper.

Adriana Lima, aesthetic biomedical, told the CNN that the treatment with salmon semen is current and that it generates good results. The technique emerged in South Korea and has been internationally successful. The so-called PDRN, or polydeoxyribonucleotide, is a substance made up of DNA microparticles extracted from salmon spermatozoa, it is what makes everything happen.

According to the professional, it is responsible for regenerating the cell and can be used to treat melasma, acne marks, burns, expression lines, skin rejuvenation, help with inflammation and even delay aging.

“The human body cell regeneration process is possible due to the compatibility of the salmon’s DNA with the human body’s DNA”, says Adriana Lima, who is studying the use of semen as an aesthetic procedure.

The biomedical doctor points out that despite its good effectiveness, the product is new in the beauty market, especially in Brazil, and can only be indicated by good professionals in the field of aesthetics. Each session can cost between R$600 and R$1,000.
