Regarding the outpouring of tributes following his sudden passing, Aniston said: “It’s so beautiful. He also reflected on his unique cadence (could it be more memorable?), which added so much comedy to the iconic series: “I also have to say that I think Matthew Perry’s dialect, his way of speaking, created a completely different world. In a certain sense we followed his example. He added something to our joy.”

Aniston previously opened up about her close relationship with Perry on Instagram, writing: «We loved him deeply. It was part of our DNA. It’s always been the six of us. It was a chosen family that forever changed the course of who we were and what our path would be. For Matty, she knew that she loved making people laugh. As he himself said, if he didn’t hear the “laughter” he thought he was dying. His life literally depended on it.”
