With a gigantic party-show (almost 200 dresses presented during an hour-long fashion show) at the Châtelet Théâtre in Paris, the designer – who turns seventy today – celebrated his fiftieth year of activity and together announced his withdrawal from the catwalks.

After six years from the farewell to prêt-à-porter (September 27, 2014 with the Spring-Summer 2015), the designer could only give his best with the latest Haute Couture collection. The show opened with a black coffin from which two pointy breasts protruded. On the stage, in addition to super models Gigi and Bella Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Irina Shayk, Coco Rocha, among others, the friends and muses of the stylist Amanda Lear, Dita von Teese, Rossy de Palma, Beatrice Dalle and Fanny Ardant.
