Janssen: check the vaccine schedule for the immunizer against Covid-19

People who started the vaccination schedule against Covid-19 with the immunizer from Janssen should receive booster doses in the following schedule: single initial dose + first booster dose + second booster dose + third booster dose. The guidelines are from the Ministry of Health.

The first Janssen booster dose should be applied between 2 and 6 months after the single dose, with the same immunizing agent. The second booster application should be done 4 months after the first booster dose. In this case, vaccines from Pfizer, AstraZeneca or Janssen itself can be used.

those with over 40 years old can take a third booster , which should be applied after the interval of four months from the second. In these cases, the recommendation is that AstraZeneca, Pfizer or Janssen vaccines are also used.

According to the ministry, this scheme is recommended only for those who started vaccinating against Covid-19 with Janssen, that is, who took a single dose of the immunizer.

People who started the vaccination schedule (first and second doses) with other immunizers and were vaccinated with Janssen as a booster dose do not fit these recommendations.
