Janaína Rueda and Pía León discuss Latin American cuisine at an event in SP

Great female names in gastronomy from neighboring countries to Brazil joined on Monday (10) in Sao Paulo for a round table that focuses on discussing how Latin American countries develop their cuisine.

The debate, which follows the theme Latin American chefs far beyond the stove, takes place free of charge at the Vila Olímpia unit of Universidade Anhembi Morumbi.

Among the guests are: Janaina Torres Rueda Casa do Porco and Bar da Dona Onça; Pia Leon Kjolle and Central, in Peru, in addition to the current Best Chef in the World by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants; Elena Reygadas , from Rosetta, Mexico, elected Best Chef in Latin America in 2014; and Pia Salazar from Nuema, Ecuador, considered one of the five most promising chefs in Latin America.

The mediation is for Rosa Moraes and specialized journalists Patricia Ferraz and Paola Miglio .

The chefs arrived in the country at the invitation of Janaina Torres Rueda and Jefferson Rueda to participate, the day after the debate, in the Porco Mundi, a unique dinner in São Paulo that brings together 19 chefs around the pig and the multicultural identity of Latin America.

The event takes care of A Casa do Porco, currently 7th best restaurant in the worldaccording to The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, located in downtown São Paulo.
