Singer Iza performed on Friday afternoon (12), to officially announce that she is pregnant. The performance was broadcast on the singer's official Instagram.
The pregnancy had already been confirmed to CNN on Thursday (11) by the woman from Rio, who is dating football player Yuri Lima, from Mirassol. On live, Iza said that she has been pregnant for three months.
Between the songs, she revealed that she already feels her life being transformed by the fetus she is carrying in her womb.
“I feel happier than ever, more creative than ever. It seems like the world has changed color already and it’s only been three months”, said the singer, very emotional.
In the presentation, Iza sang some hits from her career, such as “Uma Vida É Little Pra Te Amar” and “Dona de Mim”, in addition to presenting versions of songs by other singers that she believes “made sense” for the moment. The setlist included “Anunciação”, by Alceu Valença, and “Um Amor Puro”, by Djavan.
In the live, the voice of “Pesadão” and “Meu Talismã” also reflected on the irony of becoming unexpectedly pregnant right after releasing the album “Aphrodith”, which has the Greek goddess of love as its central theme.
“When I released the album 'Aphrodith', I put myself inside a gestational sac. I became a fetus and now I am a mother for the first time, I have a fetus inside me,” she said.
