Niall Horan is a well-known name in the world of pop music. The Irish singer was part of the hit group One Direction along with artists like Harry Styles and Zayn Malik, but since 2017 he has been steady in his solo career.
His first album, “Flicker”, reached #1 on the Billboard 200 chart and has accumulated over 8 billion streams worldwide.
Niall has sold more than 80 million records and is now preparing to release his third studio album, “The Show”. “It’s a feel-good and reflective album, and I think people will connect with this project more than ever.”says Niall Horan in an interview with CNN Brasil.
To help fans get a better idea of what to expect in the new project, at the request of CNN popverse he chose some songs by other artists that could be on this album. Highlight for “Daylight” by friend Harry Styles, “Exile” by American singer Taylor Swift and “Growing Up” by veteran Bruce Springsteen, one of Horan’s greatest references in music.
“I’m obsessed with Bruce, it’s no use even lying. I think he is absolutely genius and I would give anything to have the legacy that this man has.”praises Niall.
Still on the process of composing the songs he says: “There is no better feeling than getting that piece of magic you’ve been chasing”.
Niall Horan’s newest album, “The Show”, is set for release on June 9th. You can check out the interview he gave to the CNN popverse in this video.
