Italy: 93% of teachers have been vaccinated

Four million will return to school tomorrow morning Italians students. The classes reopen, that is, in nine districts out of a total of twenty.

Gradually, by the 20th of the month, all school institutions will reopen. The children living in Sicily and Calabria will finally return to their student duties in a week.

As is well known, the “vaccinated green card” is mandatory for the teaching, administrative and support staff of all Italian schools. For students, children under the age of six, and members of classes in which they have all been vaccinated, are excluded from the use of the mask.

“The absolute priority of the government was to return the students to the classrooms. I hope that in many cases, in addition to the teachers, 100% of the children will have been vaccinated. “Something that will allow us to relax the measures,” said Italian Health Minister Roberto Speranza.

The Italian Minister of Education, Patricio Bianchi, addressed another appeal to the students and stressed: “Children, get vaccinated. Do it for yourself, but also for your classmates, friends, family “.

In Italy, finally, 93% of school staff have been vaccinated against coronavirus so far, and the recommendations of the Ministry of Education include the constant renewal of air in all rooms, keeping – as far as possible – their windows open.
