Israeli army denies claims of mass graves at major Gaza hospitals

Claims of mass burials and possible executions of Palestinians at Nasser Hospital in the Gaza Strip are being dismissed by the Israeli military, which says bodies buried there were examined as part of a search for hostages. “The allegation that the Israeli army buried the bodies of Palestinians is baseless,” states the army's statement, carried by APE-MPE, where it is clarified that the bodies were returned to their burial place after their examination. “The examination was carried out in a careful manner and exclusively in places where the Intelligence services reported the possible presence of hostages. The examination was carried out carefully with respect and with the preservation of the dignity of the deceased,” they add in the relevant announcement.
