Israel attacked 14,000 terrorist targets, says spokesman for the country’s Defense Forces

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it has “attacked more than 14,000 terrorist targets” since the start of the war against Hamas, eliminating many militants from the radical Islamic group, destroying important infrastructure and weapons.

“More than 100 terrorist tunnels and more than 4,000 weapons were destroyed, many of which were inside mosques, kindergartens and residential buildings,” said the institution’s spokesman, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari.

Hagari reiterated that there will be no ceasefire and repeated the statement that Hamas uses the population of Gaza as a “human shield”.

“There are achievements, but the war is still long. There’s a long way to go. Hamas terrorists tell themselves there will be a ceasefire. There is no ceasefire, we continue forward,” he said.

The rear admiral concluded that while the IDF is focused on attacking Gaza, Israel is also “on high alert” to “thwart terrorism” in the occupied West Bank and around the Red Sea.
