Single life? Cher-to say no!
Last Friday the music legend Cher was spotted in Beverly Hills on a foursome (and more) or maybe just friends outing. Regardless, the 77-year-old musician was hanging out with her former flame Alexander «AE» Edwards, who is 37 years old. Second Page Sixthe two were spotted together with the singer J. Balvin and his girlfriend Valentina Ferreras well as the rapper Tyga.
Edwards and Cher were seen holding hands as the group left the restaurant, months after news of their split broke TMZ in May. The two were first romantically linked in November 2022, while in March 2023 Cher said she was working hard on two albums with her crush.
“Alexander gave me some songs, so I’m pretty excited,” she said of her studio work at the time. “He’s a producer and a lyricist and he does everything, so I’m happy about it.”
Despite the big diamond ring Cher sported while partying last year, second TMZ the two never got engaged.
In the past, Edwards has dated the model Amber Rose, with whom he had a son. Edwards publicly admitted to having been unfaithful while Rose, after the end of the relationship, declared that she wanted «to be single for the rest of my life. I don’t want to share my home or my life with anyone. I don’t want anyone near my children. I don’t want to have sex… he IS really disgusting. I do not want it”.
Cher, for her part, in an interview last December called her relationship with Edwards “a little ridiculous on paper.” She spoke about him with great enthusiasm, saying: «Maybe younger men don’t care if you’re funny or quirky, want to do silly things, and have a strong personality. I don’t give up my personality for anyone, okay?”.
Cher (who turned 77 in May, the month of the alleged split) laughed in the face of those who thought her age made her… well… old.
“Okay, someone PLEASE tell me… when am I going to feel OLD,” she has tweeted. “It’s ridiculous. I keep hearing these numbers, but I honestly don’t understand them. WHAT’S THE PROBLEM WITH NUMBERS? I’m dyslexic and numbers are difficult for me.”
