Wedbush Securities analyst Daniel Ives expects Apple’s new iPhone SE 2022 smartphone to sell around 30 million units in its first year due to previously pent-up demand. Moreover, Ives called this forecast “pretty conservative.”
However, this is more than the sales of the iPhone SE 2020 (second generation) in the first year. Apple no longer provides device sales data, but analysts estimate that 2020 iPhone SE sales were roughly 24 million units in its first year.

This is because the device’s low price and specifications provide “better quality” to consumers, especially when compared to competing devices. Ives believes the iPhone SE could help Apple carve out more market share from its Android rivals.
Details about the iPhone SE 2022 package can be found here. In addition, the new iPhone 13, Phone SE 2022, iPad Air and Apple M1 Ultra were shown in spectacular official videos.
