The Latina prosecutor has launched investigations into the cooperatives managed by the wife and mother-in-law of the deputy of the Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra, Aboubakar Soumahoro. The investigations, managed by the carabinieri, started from the complaints of a trade union on alleged irregularities in employee payments. According to what is reported by the Corriere della Sera the investigation is currently purely “exploratory” because there would be no criminally relevant profiles and the file does not hypothesize crimes.
However, those reported to the Uiltucs union are not only administrative issues. Some minors said they were mistreated and deprived of essential services, such as electricity and water, in the structures of the two cooperatives, which were entrusted with projects financed by some institutions and also by the Pontine Prefecture.
On the other hand, there are about thirty workers in the Karibu coop, led by Marie Terese Mukamitsindo and whose adviser is Liliane Murekatete, respectively mother-in-law and wife of the deputy, and Consorzio Aid which they say they have been forced to work illegally and have not received a salary for almost two years. They would have been asked for false invoices. There would be screenshots of the chats between the top management of the coop and some workers and documentation found in bins in Sezze, where Karibu is based. This brings Republic back.
The cooperatives had found an understanding with theInspectorate, for the deferred payment of debts accumulated towards workers. The promised sums would never arrive. It would be about 400 thousand euros. There is a lack of salaries of around 400,000 euros. The union requests that the prefect of Latina block payments to the two cooperatives for the services entrusted by the prefecture and that the money go to whoever needs to be paid.

Soumahoro’s personal defense on Facebook: «False! I have nothing to do with all of this and I am neither under investigation nor involved in any investigation by the carabinieri, which I have always had and will always have faith in. I will not allow anyone to tarnish my moral integrity. For this reason, I tell anyone who thinks of stopping me, through the weapon of defamation and media mud, to put their soul in peace. And to those who have decided, for interests unknown to me, to attack me, I say: see you in court!».
Aboubakar Soumahoro continues: «Nobody will stop me and nobody will stop us. Our journey of hope and a policy at the service of WE he will not stop or be intimidated. We are a humanity that has decided to give political representation to those who thirst for rights and dignity. I will be at the service of this noble and lofty mission.’
