The trailer for the new international series of Wagner Moura titled “Drug thieves” was released on Tuesday (18). Production debuts on the day March 14 node AppleTV+ . In all, there are eight episodes, which will be released weekly.
Based on Dennis Tafoya’s eponymous book, the plot follows two old friends and philadelphia criminals who pretend to be trafficking agents to steal a country house. However, the blow becomes a dangerous action of life or death as they expose and dismantle the largest route of narcotics hidden on the east coast of the United States.
The Brazilian actor star in the title alongside Brian Tyree Henry (“Atlanta”). Names like Marin Ireland (“The Umbrella Academy”), Kate Mulgari (“Star Trek: Voyager”), Amir Arison (“Black List”), Dustin Nguyen (“Angels of the Law”), Ving Rhames (“Mission: Impossible”) and make the cast more.
Created by Oscar winner Peter Craig, “Drug Thieves” also has executive production of the veteran Ridley Scott (“Blade Runner” and “Gladiator”), which also directs the first episode.
