in interview to CNN Brazil This Friday (2), economist Alessandra Ribeiro pointed out that the industry’s 0.6% advance in July is a reflection of the normalization of production chains and the measures adopted by the federal government to keep the economy heated.
“It’s a moderate recovery. [da indústria]which somewhat reflects the normalization of global production chains and measures that ended up boosting consumption and impacting industrial activity,” he said.
According to Alessandra, some actions taken at the beginning of the year boosted the recovery of industrial activity, amidst problems of lack of inputs, as well as more expensive materials and credit.
“We have seen an important effect of the measures that have been adopted since the beginning of the year, such as the anticipation of the 13th, the withdrawal of the FGTS, credit measures, and, more recently, all these measures to reduce tax on fuel, gas vouchers , truck vouchers and the whole issue of Auxílio Brasil”, he said.
