Inconvenience tomorrow in Germany: Lufthansa strike, all flights cancelled

The union called a strike from 03.45 (04.45 Greek time) on Wednesday to 06.00 (07.00 Greek time) on Thursday morning to “increase pressure” on management while demanding a 9.5% wage increase.

THE strike it will concern the ground staff, mainly the maintenance services, but also the operators of aircraft towing vehicles, who are necessary for the good operation of the airport, reports APE-MPE, citing AFP.

Lufthansa will have to cancel a total of 678 flights to Frankfurt and 345 to Munich, including 47 for today to the two main hubs in Germany. “The impact of the strike may lead to cancellations and delays on Thursday and Friday,” the company said.
