Pope Francis approved the first step towards the sanctification of Anthony Gaudi, the modernist architect of the Barcelona Temple (Sagrada Familia) (Templo Expiatorio de La Sagrada Familia) Vatican. Gaudi was a religious man who worked for more than 40 years for Sagrada Familia, the world’s largest Roman Catholic Church, UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Europe’s largest tourist attractions.
