The Pope was rector of San José College between the 1970s and 1980s.

Devoto Villa

After choosing the path of the priesthood, Jorge Bergoglio entered the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Seminar known as the Villa Devoto Seminary, referring to the neighborhood of the same name in which it is located.
