In October, the Trentodoc Festival arrives, the first dedicated to mountain bubbles

Mountain bubbles are increasingly loved and so, to make them known even more and to enjoy them together, the Trentodoc Festival. The first edition will take place from 7 to 9 Octoberinvolving Trento, its streets and squares, historic buildings, courtyards and many unexpected places in the city, but also the entire territory and the wineries that will welcome enthusiasts and special guests to get to know and experience every nuance of mountain bubbles.

Trentodoc Festival, strongly supported by the Government of the Autonomous Province of Trento, was born with the desire of enhance the symbolic product of Trentinoa unique territory for environmental conditions and climatic variety.

The Festival will be held in the historic center of the city and in other locations throughout the province, where the sparkling wine houses associated with the Institute will organize special events, such as tastings, talks and insights, to discover bubbles where they are born. There are four key concepts that inspire the program: territory, product, story and experience.

Grapes selected exclusively from Trentino, a long sparkling wine tradition, refermentation in the bottle and prolonged contact with the yeasts: these are the distinctive characteristics of Trentodoc, first classic method to obtain the DOC in Italy in 1993 and among the first in the world. Obtained from grapes grown up to a maximum altitude of 900 meters above sea level, Trentodoc is now produced by 64 sparkling wine producers in an area that extends from the Adige Valley to the Cembra Valley, passing through Vallagarina, the Sarca Valley, the Valsugana and the Giudicarie Valleys.

Trentodoc Festival is organized by the Trento Doc Institute and Trentino Marketing to reinforce the already widespread proposal of wine tourism and other excellence in the sector.
