In messages to Elon Musk, Kanye West claims that accident caused autism

Singer Kanye West reaffirmed that, instead of being bipolar, he actually has signs of autism. In messages sent to Elon Musk, he questions the businessman about when they will talk again. “When we come to talk, you owe me nothing,” he wrote.

The texts were shared on the Instagram profile of Ian Connor a personality that is part of the rapper’s social cycle, since the artist, until now, remains off social media.

“You will never have to talk to me again. But if we talk, the nature of the relationship has to change. I’m not bipolar, I have signs of autism due to my car accident [em 2002],” he said, referring to the famous accident that led to him releasing his hit “Through the Wire.”

In the messages, West also told Musk that his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, allegedly continues to keep the ex-couple’s children away from the singer. Together, they are parents to North, 9, Chicago, 5, Saint, 7, and Psalm, 4.

“You can’t watch Kim keep my kids away from me. And don’t say anything publicly and then call yourself friend so I can bring my audience to your platform,” Ye added, referring to X (formerly known as Twitter).

Accident in 2002

Recalled by the rapper, the aforementioned accident occurred in 2002, after leaving a recording studio. He fractured his jaw and had to undergo a series of treatments to reconstruct the area.

Although the event was considered “serious”, Kanye already had a recording schedule for his album and did not want to stop the pace.

What happened inspired him to record the song “Through the Wire” with his jaw closed. With the success of the hit, he completed “The College Dropout” and was nominated for a Grammy.
