Suleimenov emphasized that now citizens use either illegal exchangers or go to foreign sites. National crypto exchanger will allow the population to buy and sell digital assets within the established limits and restrictions. It will also allow you to better protect the population from potential investment risks in high -risk assets. The control over cryptocurrencies and the use of such assets for criminal activity is also important.
“Expanding the turnover of cryptocurrencies requires the use of a balanced and balanced approach, taking into account both the economic capabilities and the risks inherent in the crypto assets,” the chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan emphasized.
Suleimenov also said that the country will be banned by the use of cryptocurrencies as a means of payment. But, thanks to the creation of a whole state cryptocurrency ecosystem, the possibility of creating a mass digital asset provided by national currency will become possible. Specific amendments to legislative acts are planned to be submitted in August 2025.
