Many artists stop using their original name and use a stage name. It could be a childhood nickname, a name they like, a tribute to someone or even something easier to pronounce.
Although many names seem “natural”, they are often completely different from the baptismal names of famous people.
This is the case of Gustavo Lima . Recently, the singer had an arrest warrant issued by the courts for his alleged involvement in money laundering crimes and the practice of illegal gambling.
However, the arrest warrant was revoked and the habeas corpus granted on the evening of last Tuesday (24).
This practice is common among other names in sertanejo music. Great duos such as Zezé di Camargo and Luciano, Chitãozinho and Xororó and the singer Leonardo, in fact, do not call themselves this.
