In a new selfie posted on Instagram, Grace Kelly’s granddaughter Camille Gottlieb is the portrait of her grandmother

More than four decades after her death, Grace Kelly remains one of the most glamorous women ever. Her daughters Princess Stéphanie and Princess Caroline inherited her classic beauty which, in addition to making her a Hollywood diva, had caught the attention of Prince Rainier III of Monaco. As this photo demonstrates, though, family traits extend to the younger generation as well.

In a new selfie shared on Instagram, Camille Gottlieb, granddaughter of Princess Grace of Monaco and 24-year-old daughter of Princess Stéphanie and former palace guard Jean Raymond Gottlieb, is her grandmother’s double. With her blonde locks styled in an elegant blow-dry, her full lips and delicate bone structure, Camille is the living portrait of “Hitchcock’s blonde”. Among the most obvious similarities are her eyes: Camille stares into the lens with the same gazelle eyes that made Grace Kelly one of the great beauties of the golden age of cinema.

Despite having grown up away from the public eye, Camille has begun to build a public profile in recent years. Hugely popular on Instagram, where she has 100,000 followers, the Monegasque royal hopeful shares photos of skiing holidays in the French Alps, desert excursions in Dubai and (of course) enchanting days on the azure waters of Monaco. Camille also works for a drink-driving charity.

Camille has two half-siblings, Pauline and Louis, from her mother’s first marriage to former bodyguard Daniel Ducruet. Despite having different fathers, the three were raised as brothers and sisters.

Louis recently became a father for the first time, having fathered a daughter, Victoire, with his wife Marie. The couple met in a Cannes nightclub when they were both studying at a nearby business school. The lovebirds were married in July 2019 in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, where, as is known, Louis’s grandparents, Prince Rainier III of Monaco and US actress Grace Kelly, exchanged vows in 1956 during of a star-studded ceremony.

The news of Victoire’s arrival was announced by Princess Stéphanie’s brother, Prince Albert II, during a public engagement. Attending the first aid award ceremony of the Monegasque Red Cross on Tuesday 4 April, Alberto announced: “My nephew Louis Ducruet and his wife Marie have the joy of being parents of a little girl.”

Recently, Camille joined her cousin Charlotte Casiraghi to pay homage to their grandfather, Prince Rainier III, at the mass marking the 18th anniversary of his death.
