This Wednesday (03), the imagine Dragons released his new single “Eyes Closed” . A mysterious and enigmatic music video for the song was also released.
Facing the future, the music mixes elements of alternative, rap, electronic and rock. The vocalist Dan Reynolds who appears in the clip inside an hourglass, mentions in the chorus: “I could do this with my eyes closed”.
For Universal Musical, the singer mentioned: “After taking some time off the road and spending time with family and loved ones, I finally felt the desire to return to the sonic places that originally brought me the most joy, but with a new perspective. and mentality.
In the release released by the record company's press office, Dan also comments: “The world looks very different after being a band for over a decade. But some things will always remain the same. It's finding the right balance between nostalgia and freshness that brings me the most joy in the studio. We had a lot of fun making this song and we hope you like it too.”

The band's last release was released in August 2023, with the track “Children of the Sky (a Starfield song)”, which was inspired by the successful science fiction role-playing game, Starfield.
Furthermore, Universal also pointed out that the hit single “Bad Liar”, from 2018, just surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, establishing Imagine Dragons as “the first group to have 10 songs with more than 1 billion streams in the aforementioned streaming”.
The band already has a scheduled date to return to Brazil
Despite having come to the country in 2023, Imagine Dragons has already been confirmed to perform at the Palco Mundo do Rock in Rio on September 14, 2024.
Last year, the quartet visited São Paulo, Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro in February and March.
