“In an initial way, it is the beginning of the investigation, we got this mapping. So much so that, with a single target, several cars, Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, valued at more than $ 15 million; more than $ 220,000 with another; and $ 150,000 with another [investigado]. This, by itself, points to the severity of what we are talking about and the right shot we have given to this investigation, ”said Andrei Rodrigues, general director of PF, at a press conference on Wednesday (23).
The seizures are part of the court decision, which determined blockade of assets and values in the house of $ 1 billion of the investigated.
The lawsuit investigates fraud at the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), which would have reached R $ 6.3 billion in monthly discounts of retirees and pensioners without authorization, between 2019 and 2024.
