Ilary Blasi and the documentary film Unica on Netflix

Like a meteorite that crashes a few meters from us without the slightest warning, be it a beam of light in the sky or an extraordinary edition of Tg4, Netflix announces the release on November 24th of Uniquethe documentary film in which Ilary Blasi it will be told for the first time without filters, sharing with the public what is not yet known about her – or, at least, that’s what Ilary herself says in the teaser. The title, «Unique» like the dedication that Francesco Totti had it printed on the shirt at the stadium to win her over in those historic shots that almost everyone pulled out when the breakup was announced, it could be a clue to the true hope of all the spectators who began to hastily share the teaser on social media: that Ilary has wisely dodged interviews this past year to finally talk about the end of her marriage on Netflix behind a millionaire fee that no one (or almost no one) could have afforded.

Ours, however, is only a hope. Overall, Ilary Blasi deserves credit for a revolution that is nothing short of extraordinary: having succeeded, in a world in which we really don’t seem to resist the temptation to post and write on social media what comes into our heads, for example wait for the right moment to pronounce.

In the last year Ilary Blasi has lived her life with apparent serenity: conducted an edition of theIsland of the Famous on Channel 5 occasionally playing on the end of his marriage; she announced her new love for Bastian Muller, and decided to share the brightest and sunniest side of his (new) life on social media. If there were shadows and pitfalls in his journey we will find out (perhaps) on Netflix, with the hope that many of us don’t act like snobs because we are very certain that Unique it will probably be the most viewed title on the platform for who knows how long. Especially if Ilary chooses to talk about designer bags and hidden rolexes.
