USP student Bruna Oliveira da Silva’s boyfriend, who was found dead in Itaquera, east of São Paulo, last Thursday (17), told the CNN About the last contact with the young woman. “For me it’s very sad. I was going to marry my girlfriend,” said Igor Rafael Sales .
On the day of the disappearance, the young woman left Igor’s house in Butantã, south of the capital, by subway, bound for Itaquera, east. “I always took her on a motorcycle. She was never a subway. That day she was raining and so we decided she would go from a subway,” says Sales.
After arriving at the Itaquera Terminal, around 10 pm, Igor continued in contact with Bruna. The young woman asked for money to pay a Uber from Itaquera terminal to her home.
Igor said that before taking Uber, the young woman charged her cell phone in a place near the subway, after that Igor’s messages stopped being answered. “I sent her messages, came the message and she didn’t answer, after 10 minutes I sent a message again and she didn’t answer. I know she lives nearby, if it was from Uber or 5 minutes it took time, ”he explained.
The last message she received was at 10:30 pm, and her last online activity at WhatsApp was at 10:21 pm. The amount transferred to Uber was not used.
Igor is in constant contact with Bruna’s family and went to the Forensic Medical Institute (IML) after the young woman’s body was found. “You still can’t determine the cause of death,” concludes Sales.
If in investigation by the Department of Homicide and Protection of Persons (DHPP), according to a statement from the Public Security Secretariat, the body was found in the back of a parking lot. No details on the line of investigation were given.
