More than 370 trucks carrying humanitarian aid entered Gaza this Monday (27), including 154 trucks that arrived at the Kerem Shalom crossing from Egypt, said the coordinator of government activities in Israel's territories.
About 70 World Food Program trucks that arrived at the port of Ashdod entered Gaza carrying flour.
Hundreds of trucks have not yet been collected by UN agencies for distribution within the territory, the Israeli official said. The UN said recovery and aid distribution remained difficult due to conditions in the enclave.
The UN agency that operates in the Palestinian territory said it collected only 30 trucks for distribution on the Gaza side due to restrictions in the territory, continued Israeli airstrikes, rocket launches by Hamas and limitations on the routes that can be used.
