Huge aquarium explodes in hotel in Germany – Two injured

Huge Fish tanklocated in a Berlin hotel, exploded early this morning and 100 firefighters have rushed to the scene, emergency services said.

According to the Bild newspaper website, there are at least two injured.

“The aquarium has been damaged, there is a water leak. The situation is not clear at the moment,” the fire service of the German capital wrote on Twitter.

Berlin’s traffic information agency, VIZ, pointed out that there is a large amount of water on the road.

Dom Aquaree is located inside a Radisson hotel in the tourist district of Mitte in Berlin. According to its website, this aquarium is the largest homogeneous, cylindrical aquarium in the world, it is 16 meters high, contains one million liters of water and 1,500 fish.
