However, earlier information appeared on the Web that the premiere of the new generation of Huawei Mate will take place in March.

The Huawei Mate 50 smartphones will be based on the new flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chipset, which will be presented in December 2021 at the traditional annual Qualcomm summit. True, this will be a special version of the chip, characterized by the fact that instead of a 5G modem, it will include a 4G modem. The fact is that due to sanctions imposed by the US government, Huawei cannot purchase chips with support for fifth-generation cellular networks from Qualcomm. But smartphones Huawei Mate 50 will support satellite communications for communication using SMS-messages in cases where the usual cellular network is not available. The Chinese satellite system Beidou will be responsible for this.
