After extensive testing, Google is finally activating the new Gmail design for all users, but gradually: if the updated interface has not yet appeared, then it will happen in the coming weeks. The redesigned look looks fresh, but as always, it certainly isn’t to everyone’s taste. Fortunately, the old design can be easily returned, the 9To5Google portal found out.
It is enough to open the Gmail website and click on the settings icon in the form of a gear – at the top of the menu that opens, a notification should appear about using the new look, under which there will be a sentence “Go back to the original view”.
After selecting this option, the user should indicate the reason for his decision, but he may not do this – just click on the “Restart” (Reload) button in the notification that appears.
If you still want to install a fresh design again, then you need to do all the same steps – only in the settings there will already be an offer to try a new look.
